Answer	Salam un alaikum, This site is for only fiqhi questions. But in short, the fact is that after Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), Hazrat Ali (A.S) was the first leader and imam of muslims. Mayn quranic aayaat and ahaadees proves the khilafat of Hazrat Ali (A.S). For these proves and correct history see books on this topic for example (When I Was Guided) etc.
