Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim May the respected scholars assist us in our ijtihad as quickly as possible… Subject: must a virgin reveal that she was raped to prospective husband QUESTION If a virgin girl was raped repeatedly by her older brother when she was around the age of 8 or 9, is she required by Islamic law (years later) to reveal this information to her prospective (intended) husband, or is it permissible to conceal this fact and proceed with this marriage as if she were (an ordinary) virgin and never mention about the repeated rapes?
