Question ID
Mujtahid Name Aayat-ul-Allah Seestani
Question Sir I have a ques regarding the time of Namaz-e-fajr. Basically i m following the namaz timetable published by one of our shia masjid. According to them the starting fajr time is actually the imsaak time according to other shia masjid in birmingham. So my question is so far i was praying my fajr namaz at the start of imsaak time so whether my fajr namaz is accepted in the light of Islam or i have to offer my all namaz again? Please rely me ASAP in the light of Ayat-ul-Allah Seestani. ILTAMAASA DUA.
Answer Just before dawn a column of whiteness rises upwards from the east. It is called the first dawn. When this whiteness spreads, it is called the second dawn, and the Prime time for Subh prayers. The time for Subh prayers is till sunrise. A person can start offering prayers only when be becomes certain that the time has set in or when two just (Adil) persons inform that the time has set in. In fact, one can rely upon the Adhan, or on advice of a person who knows the timings and is reliable.. .(Ayat Ullah Seestani(d.b), Tauzee hul masail, maslah#,729731). (Khuda aap ki tawfiqaat mein izafa farmaye)
