I am little bit confused of Khums issue.
Let suppose I am doing an internet based job earning and saving at the end of the year I saved 10,000. Just after the end of the year I won a lucky draw of 10,000 total saving 20,000. What will be the khums ?
And just before the end of year I won a lucky draw of 10,000 . Total saving 20,000 than what will be the khums? |

Wssalam o alykum, if you win the lucky draw of 10,000 befor the date of kums (even one day before the date of kums, as the date of kums is 1 January and you got the lucky draw of 10,000 at 31st December or before it) so you have to pay the kums of 20,000, means 4,000. Right if the lucky draw of 10,000 was gotten at 1st January or after it so the kums of 10,000 is paid, means 2,000, and the lucky draw will be inculeded in the amount of next year.
