Question I am totally confused about ghusal e janabat. As I read on ur website that it can be delayed and necessary for prayers but my sister in law is stressing that it Is compulsion to take bath exact after jimaa an even nothing can be eaten without taking bath and but it is not possible for me to take bath at nite as I live in joint family and we have only one bath room in our home. Please help me by clarifying the view.Jazak LLL|AH
Answer After jimaa the ghusl e janabaat is wajib for those works in which the wuzo is provision and condition, and it is not wajib that you have to ghusl e janabat after jima immediately, but it can be delayed, but the wajib is you must do it before those works, suppose the person had jima in night so he can delayed ghusl e janabat till the time in which he can performe namaaz e fajar after the ghusl. And to talk about eating and drinking so after jima and before ghusl e janabat it is makroh not haraam, and also if you wash your face and hands and rinsing the mouth so it is not makroh. (Ref: sistani(d.b),Tauzee hul masail, maslah # 356 , 355 , ALLAH tofiqaat main izafa farmaae).
